Thanks for visiting Community Village and SRAL booth there! Hope you had a pleasant stay!
SRAL badge base firmware is now open sourced at https://github.com/sral-fi/SRAL-SAO2-basefw. The repo contains also the game firmware, so you may return back to it after your own experiments.
SRAL had a CTF that spanned from the physical world through radio waves into CTF game network (Radio Controller Challenge) and to SRAL badge.
We awarded with SRAL badge all those who managed to hack the Radio Controller and were able to steer the antenna towards QO-100 amateur satellite. After that it was possible to continue the CTF inside the badge.
Here's TOP-3 overall scores for the SRAL CTF:
#1 nakit-ja-muusi 38789 points 1001011110000101 #2 bemyak 37121 points 1001000100000001 #3 hyppykeppi 4353 points 0001000100000001
Congratulations!
